2.8 million young people in the UK don’t think their job prospects will ever recover from the pandemic. A situation that is only set to worsen with the cost of living crisis.
If you’re a person from a disadvantaged background, person of colour, or an underrepresented group your chances are substantially worse.
We are investing in young creatives by delivering a series of practical, ‘hands-on’ workshops to students and young people across the UK. Our speakers are from the areas and demographics and underrepresented groups that we work with, and offer aspirational inspiring stories about their own experiences, along with mentoring and a connection that endures after the workshop has taken place.
Imagine learning from Adele or Lana Del Rey’s musical collaborators; a Mercury Prize winning songwriter; social media experts from TikTok; or self-starters who can give inside tips on how to apply for funding to kickstart your creative careers.
